Not 100% sure yet for a first. Right now no truck to pull with but that can be remedied. Like the idea of a small motorhome but for a first I don't know. What was your first? How long have you been an RV'er?

We started with a 1984 Type C back in 2003, just updated to a 2000 28' Type A Allegro wide body. We wanted to stay under 30' so we would be comfortable in State parks.

We only go a few times a year but upgraded to something we could go cross-country in for a few weeks if and when we want to.

We paid $4500 for our 84, sold it for $2000, purchased our 2000 for $13,500, just needed a good cleaning and some maintenance items on the chassis. Main thing for us was the layout inside and a LEAK FREE roof!

I looked for at least 9months before finding the Allegro.
