New from PA

Wanted to say hello and introduce ourselves.

We are new to the RV world and loving it.

Purchased a '89 Tiffin Allegro 31' in the beginning of July. Busy doing a little maintenance and TLC on the rig in between prior commitments. We have the rest of the summer and fall planned and looking forward to a lot of R&R.

Generally, we travel with at least two of our four pugs (3 are ours and 1 is a permanent foster for the rescue we started). But planning a very long weekend in the RV without any of the pugs.

I have already found a ton of great information and advice here.

Thanks and looking forward to 'talking' with you here or maybe out on the road.

Thanks.

Any favorite 'local' camp sites you would recommend?

Re: New from Pa

Hey HomedPug,
We have checked out a few local campgrounds so far.
Little Red Barn Campground in Quakertown was nice. The site we were in was spacious. Downside, no sewer hook up but you can pay a few extra bicks and the honey wagon will take care of it for you.

Bakers Acres in NJ - for us the site we were in was tight for our size camper, 36'. Did have sewer hookup which was nice.

We are looking at Otter Lake Camping Resort, probably next season. Looks very nice, sewer hookup, cable, water, electric.

Tohickon Family Campground - friends of ours stayed there for a weekend and said it was very nice. There is a stream on the property which can be fished.

Just a few places on our radar so far. If you guys fond any, keep us posted as well.

Tim

Timberlane

We have stayed at Timberlane Campground across from Philly in NJ.
I do service work in Chester and have found this to be very good.
Close but the location seems nicely remote and quiet.
We always found room for our previous coach which was a 42ft DP
