New from Pine Bush, NY

Happy Tuesday!

You gotta love the Internet. Nothing beats a forum site like this. There's so much to learn/know/share. I did a search earlier on RV warranty options.

About a month ago we scored a pretty good deal on a 2015 Prime Time Crusader 351req. We haven't actually brought it home yet. I knew going into it that my '97 Geo Prizm was not gonna be able to get it home. Heading to NH in a few days to get a 2012 Ram 3500 Laramie, crew cab, long bed, SRW, diesel, 4x4. Initially wanted a 2wd until someone suggested that getting out of a slippery spot could be tricky.

Although I had a Rockwood popup for ten years when the girls were growing up. I've been mostly motorcycle camping (for 43 years). This should be different.

Our original plan was to start on this adventure in a few years in full retirement and head out in the winter for three months. Guess we'll start out slower.

Got the 5th wheel, getting the truck, now gotta hack out a place to park it. I think I've figured out how to get it onto the property, and where to park it, but am not sure about the tight turn needed to get it back onto the driveway and headed out. Another tree may have to come down. (8-( Seems like you need a lot of room to turn one of these things. Experience will be the best teacher. I've white-paper studied it about all I can for now. Little circles and arrows...

Oh well, that's all for now. Glad to be onboard.
