New From "Say it with a smile" Alabama!

We will be purchasing our 1st RV Saturday at CampersWorld in Oakwood, Ga, a 2012 Jayco Greyhawk 32 FK.
Any words of wisdom, critiques, shared knowledge learned "the hard way" will be much appreciated!
We don't want to reinvent the wheel, just keep our's rolling, minimizing the bumps as we go.......

This appears to be a "Great Forum" we will be active in as we motor into retirement!

I'm a retired Airline Captain, inactive 'Ham', ( may get a 2 meter soon to use on the road) my wife a RN. Currently I own a small 'Aerial Photo' business.

In advance, thanks to all! We're excited, and soon to be broke, Ha!

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your new motorhome. Like in your aircraft, preventive maintenance is the key. That plus these toys are made to use. The worst thing you can do to it is to let it "sit up". Treat it like your wife: love it, take care of it, take it places. And like your wife it will let you spend lots of money on it.

Welcome aboard. Also get back to being an active HAM. Radios have changed a lot since the days of tubes.
