StevL,

Welcome from Florence, SC!! Don't sweat being a newbie... we were all there once ourselves. If you have any questions, whatsoever, post 'em here on this site and the good folks that inhabit this electronic domain will give you all the answers you need!!

I second the thought about "driveway docking" for a bit to get used to the whole routine.. besides, it's fun. Enjoy your learning curve... you'll be hooked before you know it!!

Kyle

Would like to be there to meet you, but Peggy and I won't be back until second week of April. Won't have our boat in the water until we get back from our May/June trip up north. I'm betting you'll like it, however, and will come back when we can get you on the boat.

My wife and I were discussing today how to get our boat there

I'm very busy through the 3rd with a fund raiser to benefit cancer patients, then the next weekend is Masters week, we do a lot of entertaining that weekend.

It's looking like maybe around the 13th or so. I need to contact them about renting a space, I'll pm you our dates when there set.

Thx!!!
Steve

I had to share this, good chuckle at myself

I made a reservation today for three nights at a beautiful lake for our first trip away from home in an RV. It's about an hour away.

While making the reservation I was having a great conversation with Frank about their location and me being a complete newbie to traveling RV style. He assured me that he would be there to help if needed any and others would certainly be willing to help as well..

Near the end of the conversation he asked; "are you 30 or 50"? Without hesitation I said "I'm 60". Frank started laughing out loud and said, "I was talking about your power requirement", I had to start laughing too. I told Frank again this is our very first time out in an RV, I think he now understands

Just stop by site 61 on your way in Steve and I'll show you where to stick that power cord.

Lots of friendly people there, most any will be very happy to help.

See you at the lake.
