Welcome Cattledog. What part of SW Missouri are you located? I grew up in that area - went to Carthage High School (class of '66). Now live in St. Louis area.

Stan, We live in small town of Elkland, about 20miles north of Springfield. I retired after 30yrs with the City of Springfield. And now get to stay home and take care of cows. Spring is busy time for wife and I, but after that we try to hit the road for a bit. We do our best each year to stay gone for a month or so, and the rest of the time hit all the lakes in our area for week or weekend stays. We love it and all the time we can relax at the camp-sites. My uncle lives in St Louis and we go to visit him from time to time and also to watch the CARDINALS lose there. HA HA. We bought our first 5th wheel there in Carthage very nice place.

Hello Cattledog,
We're new here also, and wanted to say hello to all. We are from Springfield/Joplin, MO, so we're neighbors. However, we're workampers and are currently in Iowa. Best wishes to you and yours. Hope to come across you on the road or lakeside some day.

I understand. Workampers.... My younger brother does the very same thing, he now is in Tulsa, and had come from Ft Smith. He lives here in MO. But the RV works real good for him. Hopefully you'll be able to pull that plug from the wall and turn the work off, and JUST PLAY... But till then enjoy the ride. Dan.

Welcome, fellow Missourians........we live in the country outside of Warrenton, MO. DH is retired, but I'm not quite ready to, so we do long weekends and about a months worth spread out over the rest of the year, so far. Looking forward to being able to come and go as we please. Enjoy the forum (it's been a wealth of info for us!), and happy trails!
