My wife and I bought our first RV about 2 months ago. It is a 28ft 1988 Pace Arrow. It only had 19,000 miles on it. That has turned out to be good and bad as there have been a number of maintenance items that needed to be addressed from sitting. We have taken care of all the important items and we will be taking our two boys to the Grand Canyon this weekend for our first trip. The kids are really excited.

I'll let you all know how it works out and what we think of Trailer Village...the in-park campground at the South Rim.

Sounds like a real find! You and the boys will really enjoy it, I'm sure. And what a great shake down cruise, to the Grand Canyon! I'm jealous.

Have a great time, and tell us all about it when you get back.

Ryan (Rusty Skills):

G'morning from Camp Verde/Sedona and a BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 gang. Your trip to the Canyon sounds like it'll be a great time! You're going to enjoy Trailer Village. Wave as you go by the Camp Verde exit heading North.

My wife, Lynette, and I have been full timing since 05 (originally out of Duluth, MN....brrrrrr!) and often spend at least part of the cold winter months in the Tucson/Benson area visiting friends.....or.....in Florida where our son and his family live.

Glad to have you here, and again, WELCOME.

Steve & Lynette

Thanks! I appreciate the nice comments and I'll wave while we are climbing the hills out of Camp Verde.
