New from TX RVer
Decided to buy my first RV and found a 98 HR Imperial with low miles and in pretty good shape. I've put $5K into it, new tires, batteries, all maint brought up to date and believe she's ready to roll. Will be heading to Fredericksburg and up to Abilene for the holidays. This will be its maiden voyage. Wish me luck! Happy Holidays!!

Happy Holidays - and Happy RVing from a fellow Texan who loves Fredericksburg. We generally stay at the very quiet Lady Bird Johnson City Park south of town. Close to the golf course for me and not too far from the shops for my wife.
Best wishes for your new experiences!!

would suggest a short shake down overnight before you commit to a long drive where you need to be somewhere on time...
good luck with it !

Hi
I would also suggest a short shake down trip. Or if you can park it at the house, spend all day in it using everything like your on the trip. Heater/water slides if you have the room to slide them out.
Good luck
this place is great
Safe travels
