New full timer

My name is Mckenley and my parents and 2 younger siblings are starting our "adventure" this summer. We've sold our house and left everything I've ever known to "tour the world" as my parents say. I'm torn on leaving in a week to never return but its exciting to not know.. I wanted to introduce myself and join a community to find out what this is all about. I'm sure I will be popping up in all kinds of threads to really get to the bottom of why my parents wanted this life so bad. And I have all the time in the world.

I look forward to this learning experience and talking with you all.

Thanks
-Mckenley

Welcome to the forum. Why don't you tell us how you will be traveling and maybe some approximate ages so we can relate a little better.
It sounds like a real adventure. This country has many great places and lots of good people. I believe you will really enjoy it.

We uprooted our kids in similar fashion. Today (they are now all adults) those adventures are the framework for all of their fondest memories. Your experiences-to-come are unimaginable to you at this point, as they had been for our three kids. Be ready for "things" you have never dreamed of. You are going to have a blast. Welcome Aboard! \ken
