New Full-Timers - 2006 Keystone Cambridge Renovation

We are a family of three based in Southeast New Mexico who have been full timing in a borrowed Newmar 5th wheel since May of this year. We sold our house in anticipation of my job coming to a close, and had planned on relocating to the east coast. Instead, my contract was extended at the last minute and we began our search for a 5th wheel to call our own.

We seriously considered the brand new units from Redwood, but the price vs. quality just wasn't impressive enough to warrant such a large purchase with the immediate depreciation factor. Frustrated, we turned our search to older full-time units and just so happened to find a Keystone Cambridge a friend of our's was selling.

We got an exceptional deal on the camper so we have been able to invest in some quality upgrades to get most, if not all, the bells and whistles we liked on the Redwoods. We are still a couple weeks out from completion but making great time.

This site has been an excellent resource for our renovation questions. I appreciate the time folks have put into helping folks like us get into the swing of full timing.
