New fulltimers from Raleigh

Hello all....
We are John and Diane, and we've been lurking (here and elsewhere), learning, and planning for a while now. The plan is moving forward! We're out of the house, the kids have the important stuff, the rest is in consignment, and we've reached agreement to buy an '02 Dutch Star DP 4099. We'll take delivery in a few weeks, futz about a bit with some last minute details, and be on the road in early August with no anchors connected anywhere!

We are ready for this! We thank all of you who have unknowingly helped us through the process, and we hope to cross paths with many of you along the way.

Congratulations and have fun!

My website describes the conversion of my Dodge B-250 van into a small RV. I deal with a lot of woodworking, but hope to be quite specific on solar as well.

Hello John and Diane! Glad you joined us and congratulations on the new Dutch Star! Check out the Carolina Campers under the Southeast Region further down the page. We try to get together when we can to enjoy time around a campfire and always some good food and fellowship. Hopefully we will meet you at one of our campouts. Enjoy the RV lifestyle and safe travels.
