New Georgian members
Greetings from Marietta, GA. My wife, Beth (member Beth4652) and I (member Johnny Mike) just joined this group. We recently purchased a 32' Passport 2980RL Ultralite and are looking forward to seeing much more of the country than our working days allowed us. We are new at this RVing although we have camping experience from our Boy and Girl Scout leadership positions and activities with 7 children and 8 grandchildren. We've spent about three weeks at campsites since purchase learning about the camper and its use.
We are towing with a Dodge pickup that is setup for towing. It has over 100K miles but has been well maintained so I'm comfortable with using it. It was purchased to pull a 25' pontoon boat and utility trailer (to move kids to/from college!)
I've spent some time looking through the forums here and believe we will learn a lot from being members! Thanks for accepting our applications and I'm sure we will become friends with many of you and may meet some at a campsite in future! (I guess I should put the decal in back window!)
