New group member here to learn.

My wife and I are in the process of developing a plan to go FT in a couple of years. Here to learn all I can about this lifestyle. We are getting close to retirement and want to travel. Will be asking lots of questions and sure appreciate your willingness to pass on what you've learned and experienced.

Hello and welcome from North Texas!!! How exciting that you are getting close to retirement!! We have been retired for a couple of years. It was an adjustment after working for so long but we settled in just fine lol.

Not sure what your RV plans are but if you don't already own one I would suggest you take time now to determine what type of rig you want; motorhome, towable etc. We started with a 5th wheel, moved into a small Class A DP and last year moved up to a big 43' tag axel Class A DP. Wish we had started with this last coach first lol. Would have saved us time and money for sure.

We are not quite full time yet but hope to make that leap soon. So for now we're are making our plans, working on budgets etc.

Good luck!!! You will enjoy the wonderful people here that are so willing to help with any questions you have!!

Jerry
