Well we picked up our new Surf Side 29A in Sparks, Nv. About a 600 mile drive from our home in southern Utah. The seller had 10 days to get it ready but when we got there it had just had the oil change done that we requested and agreed to pay for, and was still at the detail shop getting cleaned up. That took several hours while we went through a thorough check list to be sure everything was working correctly. Since it had been sitting for awhile, I asked the seller to charge the house batteries. He never did and they were bone dry! While checking the monitoring system, it appeared the grey and black tanks we 3/4 full. He said that couldn't be, but sure enough 6 months of you know what had been sitting in them. What is it with people anyway? Who would sell a motorhome to someone that was going to drive it 600 miles home and not even charge the batteries or empty the tanks?? Anyway, It's great, we had a fun 3 day trip home across central Nevada, and have had a few days now to get more comfortable with it. It was a great purchase.
