Howdy Folks,

Jack from Eastern Washington here checking in!

Thought I'd take a moment now that I got my account confirmed to say 'hi' and introduce myself!

Been 'lurking here' for a few weeks as I work towards deciding on what type of MH I want and finally decided to register and start getting some feedback on a few questions I have.

I will, of course, ask my questions in the appropriate sub-forums here on IRV2.com but for now, just wanted to say 'what's up!' :-)

Cheers,

Jack G.

Welcome, Jack. We're in the top LH corner (see sig.) We love travelling around the state, though we've done some of the Oregon Coast.

We aren't sure yet where we'll go this season. I'll definitely be going to the Abbotsford Airshow in August and maybe the EAA show at Arlington in July. One of our campanion animals isn't very well (possibly terminal) so we may limit the trips this season to cater for her infirmity.

@ rgvtexan - Thanks for the welcome!
@Frankdamp - Thanks for welcome as well!

Sorry to hear about the health issues w/your current pet/animal! I know that's never a good time and I'll keep my fingers crossed...as well as in my prayers...that it has a quick and healthy recover!

Cheers!

Jack

Jack, welcome to the forum and good luck on your searches.

Frank, We are in a similar situation. Our Benji is 16 and has a cancerous tumor in his left nostril. It is completely closed and he has a little difficulty breathing. He is a trooper and is doing pretty well considering, but the time will come when we have to send him over the bridge. No travel plans as of yet...

Thanks for the kind words about the dog, folks. Unfortunately, what's terminal is her age. She'll be 14 in October, which is remarkably long-lived for a Labrador. She's had Addison's disease since she was a pup and also suffers from exercise-induced collapse. The Addison's is under control. but she's losing strength in her back legs and can't walk very far.

Getting up and down the steps in our basement-style Class A is really difficult for her, even with a ramp. We had a 2-day shakedown to Larrabee SP last week and it was not a good one for her.

Welcome RogueRVer,
Wish we would have had more time to spend while we were in your area a couple of years ago. Wife's health issues will probably prevent us from returning up there. You are surely welcome to come visit us here on the beautiful Gulf Coast. I would, however, wait until summer is over and the temperatures and humidity go down.
