New guy from Oregon

My wife and I have been thinking about RVing for about 3 years since I retired and I have been lurking here for about 2 years trying to learn everything I can. We vacationed on 2 wheels for about 10 years and have been all over the U.S.A on two wheels but we thought maybe it was time for six instead of two so we we took the plunge and bought a 2015 Winnebago Vista (yes I read everything about the short wheel bases). I have been a Harley guy most of my adult life and spent 20 years in the Columbia River gorge so I know all about wind but the floor plan suited our needs.

I am sure this journey will be full of mistakes, learning, more mistakes and more learning but that is part of the adventure. This is the first RV we have ever owned and have decided the smart thing to do is start out with short (500 miles or less) trips to learn how everything works. Any way enough rambling and I hope to be a positive addition to the board and thanks for having me.,
