New guy Here

Hello Everyone! We are transitioning from a 25ft toyhauler to a class C. I am just starting my research and am looking forward to interacting with everyone. I am a 26yr AF veteran and I look forward to being able to travel full time (in about 10 yrs ).

Off we go into the wild blue yonder......

I'm a Air Force veteran as well. I'm only a few years away from retirement though.

We have an older Class C that I equipped with solar and is perfect for now. In some ways the Class C's are better for grandkids with the extra sleeping arrangements.

Again, welcome aboard!

Congratulations, Once you've gotten your military ID you can stay at any of the FamCamps on most military bases. The cost typically runs between $10 and $30 per night, full hookups any size rv. We are getting ready for a 3 mos. Trip with our 2014 Concord Ford 300ts and towing our VW CC Sport. So if anyone out there has any advise re: Optimal speed etc. Please let me know. Thank You

Yes, being able to stay in the FamCamps is a wonderful benefit. We are on a cross country trip and have stayed at New Orleans NAS, Davis Monthan AFB, now at Nellis AFB, and leaving next week for Whidbey Island NAS and then on to Fort Lewis, WA.
