Smile New Guy in FL

Just another new guy in FL, I look forward to the exchange of so much info in such a useful format. My user name is "Lukas " I'm Charlie, my wife Twyla and I spend winters in FL and recently began volunteering at various state parks around the country during the summer. We travel pretty much full time in our 02 Allegro Bus with the security being taken care of by Gus "a mighty" dashund. We tow a Jeep Cherokee. Our most unpleasant experience recently was a fire in our refrigerator. I will gladly share the details for those with an interest as it was a very serious time until the flames were extinguished. The unit had to be replaced which the manufacturer readly agreed to. We have traveled for 7 years now mostly " fulltime" and are on our 5th recreation vehicle so I welcome the opportunity to share some of those experiences with anyone having an interest.

Welcome Charlie. Seven years is a long time for fulltimers. Glad to have you, with your experience, we hope to see a lot of assistance ftom you as well as stories of your adventures. The fire sounds like a really scary one, that I would not like to experience myself. Again, welcome.

Welcome Charlie. Where abouts' in Florida? We are in Lee a "small but proud" no stoplight town 35 miles south of Valdosta, Ga. and have just started with our first class A diesel pusher.

Best...Jack&Rita

Jack and Rita, We are in Zephyrhills, about 20 miles north of Tampa, use to be very small but then they discovered the water and so now....Did you say you were just getting started with your Diesel pusher? You have a lot of joy ahead of you. We are on our second now. We love ours I don't know how it would be without it. What kind do you have? Charlie

lukas, glad to have y'all here on iRV2. Just wonder around and make yourself comfortable. We hope to hear from you often. You will need to check in with the Florida Cooters.
