New guy in North Florida

I'm a 56 year old IT guy, Florida state employee (Dept of Education), and a couple years from retirement.
Currently the only things keeping me here are the job and my ailing elderly Mother who I care for. Realistically, I know she won't be around too much longer - but I'll try to keep her here as long as possible. With Dad's passing earlier this year, I inherited his old '86 Ford E-150 van. Having my own minivan, I have no need for another 'daily driver', so am planning on converting it to a Class B Camper. Checking online, I found a few camper/RV forums - this one looks the best. Lots of good friendly knowledgable folks, and good flow of info. I know I will get a lot of good ideas and information here!
I have been mainly motorcycle camping, then using my minivan and towing the bike by trailer - fun but limited. I am hoping to eventually get into long-term, maybe even full time RVing. The next couple years should be interesting! Really looking forward to retirement!
