Hi,

Just found your site! Lots to read!

Bob and I are 'empty nesters' and have a "new to us" 5er. We've had a trailer for years but thought we'd get ourselves some fancier digs; love those slides! Anywho...this is a whole new adventure.

We're in the Tucson area...anybody else?

Vicki

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!

Al: If you get out this way and need some sightseeing tips, I'd be glad to help out.

Mike and Amy: We have a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix! Nothing like our pets, are there?

ArtB: Is there an Arizona camping club?

Vicki, About camping clubs I have to admit ignorance. I haven't looked into it in years. When we first got the Bounder we joined a Bounder organization but never did anything with it. Then I believe there was a Good Sam club but it was out of the Phoenix area.

In addition we really used camping to get away from any stress or commitments. You may ask at some of the RV dealers or parts places as they see lots of people from all over.

Another source would be 'googling' the web. If you don't know how just ask, any number of people on this BB, including me can guide you. Art

Vicki, Check out the "Four Corner Region" area at the bottom of the forum. They have camping trip planned at times. Some I have met when we lived out in Apache Junction for a year. You may want to connect with Kablewizard; he has a new toyhauler and will probably want to go out a lot this time of year out there. Good luck and enjoy!
