New Here
Bought our 1st motorhome last fall. Getting ready to retire in a couple of years and wanted to try this out an an option for winter living. Have a 2003 Damon Intruder with the 8.1 liter engine. 60,000 miles and in very good shape. A few little things to fix or change and this seemed like the place to find the answers.

I've put 80,000 miles on mine that I bought new in 2004.
I'd suggest doing the following based on my experience with that engine/transmission:
Replace all belts and hoses. Idler pulley may be bad, I've replaced two.
Replace the spark plugs and wires.
Replace the air and fuel filters.
Clean the MAF. That's Mass Air Flow sensor which regulates the air to fuel mixture.
Change the transmission fluid to Transynd.
How old are the tires?
Has the Bosch brake recall be done?

Tires are brand new. Will check the other things once some of our snow goes away and I can get to the unit
