New hybrid owner in CT

We picked up our New to us 2011 Jayco Feather EXP 21m about a month ago. Not happy with the dealer but thats in the past now. The wife and I have been tent camping since we met 16 years ago. I grew up tent camping and she grew up with a small RV. We bought a "project" pop up a few years ago and we used it a few times till my procrastination caused us to say it's time to get rid of it and get something newer.

We have now gone state park camping twice and have 3 more trips planned this year. This is our favorite type of camping. I have been making small mods to it already to make it mine. Switched out all interior lights to led (can't beleive they don't come this way). Installing a second battery, switch and volt meter since we will be doing mostly state/federal park no power camping. Removed our bed mattress and replaced it with a very thick multi-layered memory foam mattress (was about $600) we had for an old futton. Made a divider curtain for the girls bed to hang from the canvas suport rod to seporate them.

I kept the stove top from the pop-up and have it setup to connect to the outside of the camper so with the grill that came with the camper, the stove and the camp fire I can cook outside for all meals. My thinking is less food smells inside might help keep critters out. Plus we don't need the extra heat inside when we can't use the fan or AC.
