New --- I don't even own an RV,,,Yet

Howdy from Texas (via Winthrop Massachusetts). I am new to the RV market and am now actively looking at an RV. I wanted, during retirement, to be able to travel and take my dog. O wait, my wife too....whew that was close. I want a class A pusher (I call them 'Bus Type') around 28-32 overall length with an opportunity to sleep another couple (In-Laws, they come with the territory) - such as opposing sleep sofas. I am looking at new and will consider used.

Help, what is your advice. I am open to all suggestions and advice. I will however steal your ideas and call them my own, gotta look good for the grandkids and wife.

God Bless......

Since you are from the Houston area, check out PPL motorhome. Many used MHs on display. They also have a web site.

Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you with us! Sure hope you can find just the right rig for your needs. I would suggest you do a lot of browsing and post your specific questions over in the Class A area of the forum for better results. Not too many folks hang out here in the welcome area. Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

If you're looking for a DP in the 28'-32' range, you've limited yourself to the Tiffin Breeze, which was and still is one of my favorite models. Most DP come in the larger sizes 35' and up...

If you are going to have guess then going larger is the way to go. Also look at the bath and a half models. Don't know what price range you are looking, but there are lots of nice coaches out there. Think the first thing you should do is look at floor plans. Then you can narrow your selection down. Good luck and if we can help please ask.

Hi, welcome to IRV2. Good luck on your search. I too would look at something a little bigger if you plan on others going with you.
