After three years of research and planning, our Itasca Horizon 40KD is scheduled to be born at Forest City on 12/15. Quite a Christmas gift! Now the BIG discussion is; do we take off for someplace warm ASAP or wait until spring to gain some experience and thoroughly check this thing out?

Nancy & Hank welcome to irv2
What the heck if you can do it do it and enjoy your new coach in warmer weather you will give it a workout and you will find what has to be corrected, hopefully not much, it is not going to get any warmer any time soon up at this latitude. "007"

Congratulations on your new
Itasca.

Come on down to Kerrville, Texas.
It is in the hill country of Texas
and winters here are very mild.

There are two very nice campgrounds
that a lot of winter Texans use
each year. One is on the Guadalupe
river and is a rally large campground.

Look in the campground book for
details.

Let me know if you are coming and
we will have you over for dinner.

Billie & Vernon

Well, the Dec 15 birthdate has passed with no encouraging words from our dealer. Rumor is that Winnebago may be taking an extra 4 day shutdown at the holidays. No harm, we still have lots of planning to finish.
