New in Nevada

I am really getting an education from these forums. Good advice, offered in a friendly manner.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2007 Coachmen 31SO on a E450 chassis, with 8,500 miles on it. After a lot of shopping, we found that this one really rang our bell. Among the things that sold us is the fact that it has a north-south king bed in a dedicated bedroom area. I am a ditzy sleeper, so this was a must.

So far, we've found it exceedingly easy to drive, although I have become a "mirror freak". Drove it from California to Nevada with no problems.

As of today, I have replaced a toilet that wouldn't hold water, and the television, choosing to go with a flatscreen unit. I plan to attack the roof seals next, cleaning the old stuff off and re-sealing. I am so grateful that I am able to store the unit next to my house, which makes minor repairs so much easier.

We are retired, and look forward to many trips, including cross-country adventures, and find that the RV experience is liberating.

Once again, thanks for these forums, and I look forward to participating!

Hi Dwayne, welcome! When you get to the east coast, give us a hollar, you won't lack people to camp with. Enjoy your travels and be safe.

Hi Dwayne, I echo the of all the others. Is that Centennial Hills by any chance in Las Vegas?

Good luck with the refurbish project on your RV.

Yep, we are just northwest of Vegas, near the foot of Mt Charleston, which is a great place to camp.

Thanls to all for the welcoming sentiments!
