New in New York

Hi: I found this site when I developed a problem with my motorhome and I am very glad I did. We have a 2007 Itasca Suncruiser on a workhorse chassis. I was stuck in park and I could go nowhere. I called workhorse and all they would do is tow me to a dealer. I called a dozen repair shops with no help. That was when I looked for help on the net. found this site resolved my problen and decided to join. Glad to be a member

Welcome to iRV2. We are glad you found us. Post often and don't be afraid to ask questions. We have a great group here who like to help when they can. I would like to invite you to join us on the Winnebago Chat on Tuesday nights at 9 PM EDT.

I am curious about what you did to get out of park? I had that happen to me once and it never happened again.

Stuck in Park

Hi Friends:
I found the answer posted in this forum by Jim and Linda. With the engine off and the emergency brake on hold your foot on the brake, turn the key to the run position and move the shift form park to Neutral. Once you are in Neutral start the engine and shift into gear. As simple as that, and no repair shop could tell me that. Joe
