New in Oregon

I have not had much time to travel, yet. I am planning a trip to South Dakota, though. I am wondering about the best system for TV reception. I read about HULU and others. Any suggestions on purchasing something? I know that there is Sirius radio, is there a tv setup similar to that.
Just reading a little and signed up for Motorhome Magazine. I will probably sign up for Good Sam, also. Any other suggestions for me to check out?
Love this site so far.

With or without the internet? So many new options are being tried out. We just got Hulu, so I'll listen to the other responses.

HI, I was thinking without the internet. I do think most of the TV systems rely on the internet, though. Thanks

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

I have Dish with a Wingard antenna. I keep it set to my home address so that when I am travelling I can keep up with the home front. Most CGs have cable so I can get their local stuff.

You should also look into joining FMCA. There are lots of advantages, and their magazine, in my opinion, is better than Motorhome.

Happy Trails!!!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

In the green menu bar at the top, put your mouse pointer over "RV Forums", then under "RV Systems & Tech" click on "Technology". You'll find lots of info there! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome. We have a Winegard with a DirectTV receiver that works well. Course we aren't going long distances from our home so mayhaps that has something to do with it. Happy travels and if you ever get to CA send a wave out.

I upgraded my over-the-air TV antenna to the Winegard Sensar IV HD (high definition) antenna. Use it mostly when boondocking and state parks when cable or wifi is not available...works great and affordable.

I also added the Winegard SensarPro TV Signal Strength Meter and 400watt Inverter to power the TV/DVD off coach batteries. Happy with setup.
