New in Virginia
Been reading and learning lots on this forum for months and figured I should finally introduce myself. My wife and I are very close to buying our first RV. We are planning to spend roughly a year doing a grand tour of the lower 48 before settling down somewhere new.
Planning and preparation and research has been exciting and daunting but we've gotten a lot of good info from everyone here. So hello all and thanks for the help and inspiration.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. We are excited and really looking forward to this new adventure in our lives. The process of RV shopping is certainly daunting. It kind of combines all the complexities of car and house shopping in one, but just a bit harder... But I guess that is all par for the course and will be part of our "story" that we'll have to tell.

Welcome to the adventure from a fellow Virginian base traveler. Virginia is a great home base to adventure out from and learn how a coach and all the systems work. The state parks are some of the best and you're a two drive drive from most of the country east of the Mississippi River. Good luck with your search and see you on the road.
