New kids on the road

Hi, my husband just retired, grew up in PA, then 30 years in Elk River, MN, recently moved to Estero Florida. Decided it's too hot to stay here all summer. Bought a 2011 Tiffin Allegro Open Road. Took our first trip up to Siesta Key. Had a problem with slides coming in, so we sat for a bit unsure of what to do, started the google search, youtube, etc. Restarted the motorhome, tried to retract again, they all worked! We wonder why they did not work the first time. We're planning on visiting some National Parks this summer.

Jajohn welcome to irv2.com. Retirement and RV's are a great combination. Enjoy your Tiffin, post a picture of it and learn a lot about your rig here.

Welcome and congrats on the retirement. Being gainfully Unemployed is a good thing. Congrats on the new coach as well. Lots of good folks and good info here to help you along.

As with many things (computer controlled) we have found that many times by rebooting (or restarting the engine) things go back to normal. It is now the first thing we do when something goes amiss.

Enjoy the adventure.

Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.

It was most likely the result of rebooting.

Happy Trails!!!
