Hi all, I don't have an RV yet but will very soon. Considering full time with the wife and also looking at Winnabago Journey or Monaco Kniht. Any comment on anyone of those or recommendation on any Class A Diesel from 2009 to 2011. Can't wait to hit the road, just retired from military and want to do this before my bones start to ask for a home at a retirement community. Hope to meet some good peeps out on the road.

Hello and Welcome to IRV2. Good luck on your MH search. There are so many great places to travel to. Be sure to look at the National Rally Forum. The rally is the best place to meet people and have a great time. There are so many great people with tons of knowledge on here to help you out. Happy Travels.

Hi Hector! Welcome to IRV2! Glad you and the wife joined the bunch! I would suggest that you post your question over in the MH section to get more answers. Not many folks hang out here. Good luck, Merry Christmas, and God bless!

Welcome to RIV2, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for serving and protecting.
We were in the same situation as you are when we were attempting to purchase our first RV. We had a difficult time deciding among the Winnebago, Journey and the Monaco because all three are very nice coaches. In the end we decided on the Winnebago because of 2 good reasons. One was the roof, the only coach built with an arched roof. That's a plus because we had plan on parking it outside and I have seen how RV's and trailer's roof get because water settles on their flat roofs causing black or green mildew.
Two, one of the pluses I saw on the Winnebago was that the under frame was coated to prevent rust from developing quickly, especially in snowy areas.
All a three coaches you are trying to decide on are excellent choices. Good luck on your purchase and enjoy every minute of it when you take possession of one.
Merry Xmas and a new year filled with all the good stuff in life.

Hi Hector and welcome! I joined before we bought our first motorhome, too. There's so much good information here. I recommend finding a floorplan that suits you, as that seems to be one of the most important considerations. Have fun!

Welcome Hector1959. While your doing your looking at coaches, take a look at the Phaeton. I think that they will compare well and you'd be pleased.
