Just joined and in the process of deciding what, if any, motor home we get. We ruled out a trailer fairly quickly and determined a Class C is too small. My wife is insistent on buying new, in spite of the cost and some other advantages of used. I have become convinced of the long term advantages of a DP. So although we have not been in one yet we are thinking the Palazzo 33.2 would satisfy requirements.

My wife wants the 33.2 because the shower is part of the bath but I can see advantages of having it separate as in the 33.1.

If we get an RV we will travel with one little dog and enjoy our hobbies on the road. Dot will do her stitching and I will be taking the travel opportunity to improve my photography and do ham radio from different locations.

Any suggestions for our shopping will be welcome.

Jerry

The most important part of your decision is the layout. When sitting in it just imagine how you will use the living space. How will your hobby be set up and will that be in the way of your DW. Take your time and look for good value.

Good Luck

Hi Jerry & Dot, welcome to the forum. There's lots of coach in that general length. Don't sell yourself short. Look at something a little while you're at it. You'd be surprised how fast these things can shrink and become crowded. Nothing wrong with a good pre-owned coach. Save some money and usually someone else has worked out most of the bugs. Good luck on your search.

Thank, good thinking.
Great picture. I am going to Oshkosh on Monday and looking forward to a great week full of planes. Last time I went I camped under the wing, but that was when I was 30 years younger. This year in a motel. Maybe next year in a DP.

Something that would be nice is a campground close to a landing strip so I could leave the RV, drive the toad home, then fly the plane back on weekends.

Good idea. That is on the list as well as the Winnebago Journey 34Y.

Thanks for all the replies.

Decisions, decisions. Well it is nice to be in the position of being able to make such decisions.

After driving the Palazzo and going over the layout thoroughly we are leaning in that direction.
