Just learned of your site from a fellow RVer. I don't know his ID so could not give him credit. My wife and I are fairly new RVers (Feb, 2012) so we have many more questions than answers. We bought a new 2011 Jayco Greyhawk FK, 32.6 ft with one slide and a 2012 Honda CRV toad. We took our 2 granddaughters (13 & 10) for a month trip from GA to the Grand Canyon and back. Mostly enjoyable the whole time. Leaving Sat. for Chatanooga, TN this weekend for a 4 day excursion with them.
I have a concern about letting my unit sit for the winter with no or very little use. It is making me rethink the Cl C option and rethink a tag along option may be better. I would loose big bucks but may be better to cut my loses earlier on. Any thoughts from anyone?

Welcome to the forum!
Would you use a trailer more often than a class C??? Both of them will have to be winterized. What is your concern other than little use? You need to plan farther than the winter. If you are happy with what you have now, you would be happy in the spring and vice versa.

My main concern is the new vehicle sitting all winter and not being used. With a tagalong, I could use the truck all year. Both coaches would meet my camping needs.

Welcome to the forum. There is no problem leaving your MH sit through the winter. You can still drive your toad. Don't understand why you would want to get rid of the MH. My guess is that half the people on here have to winterize their units and let them parked for the winter. You would lose money also. Mine is parked and won't be used until Spring, although I wish I could, but I still have to work....
