Went camping many years ago in a Stampede hybrid. Saw the well-equipped, clean MO campground. Loved it. Visited many RV shows and, being military, wished I had the time to get in to it.

Now I am retired and I found an excellent deal on a 2004 Georgie Boy 31' Pursuit with 10.4K miles. (Owner was military and lived overseas for 6 of 8 years.)

Took the plunge.

As the MH is great, but not perfect, I thought it would be best to get involved with an active forum to help answer my questions. My past experience tells me RV people like to help, so...

Anyway, after I pick it up tomorrow, I am driving to a local electric and water campsite for two nights, just to go through the owner's and equipment manuals, just to make it all work.

from NH. Good idea to spend time at a local campground to check it out. You'll arrive home a much smarter person. Good luck and enjoy your stay.

Thanks

Thank you all for your best wishes!

We finished our two night trip and things went pretty well. I have found a lot of little things wrong. However, two must be addressed.

1.) MAJOR: the black/gray discharge pipe is not well-aligned with the sewer (flexible) pipe, making removing and replacing the sewer pipe nearly impossible.

2.) Significant: The Owners' manual describe blow out system does not exist.

Both these lead me to believe the water panel has been worked on. I will be looking for a thread where I can discuss these in detail.

Oh, and I need more money

Dave
