Long time RVer but because of my numerous surgeries, my wife and I have not been out much in the past 7 years. We had a 40' Monaco diesel that literally sat unused all that time. Doing much better now and down sized to 25' diesel Coachman. Been out a few times and loved getting around so easily and with with more than twice the gas mileage. Our first long trip was to South Dakota (the only State I had never been in), and we visited just about every historical site we could find. Next stop is the LA area in 2 weeks.

Welcome to the forum. I like hearing people who can overcome and adjust. This gives me hope that my RV years will be long and plentiful. Getting to do what you want, not much more you could ask for is it? I have heard of plenty RVers who have made Alaska, maybe you'll be the first to visit Hawaii in your RV? Who needs a cruise ship or aeroplane anyhoo?
