Hello. I'm new to RVing and have done nothing but read and pour over everything RV I can get may hands on. My wife and I are retired and want to purchase a new Class C motor home. We're just not sure of a good brand, but have our eyes on a 25' Winnebago. We live in Maryland, in the Frederick area and are working with Beckleys RV.

Any thoughts (or prayers) on an RV purchase, size, type, manufacturer and dealers, would be greatly appreciated. We do plan on renting from Cruise America in October. Glad to be aboard!

first I would have the rv inspected by a non partisan person. Second, you can't go wrong with the Winnebago except for storage space. They tend to be at a minimum. How many miles is on it? How many hours on the gen? Does everthing check out ? Offer them $6,000 below what they are asking and take up to $3000 less

My wife and I are new to the RV world and are interested in any avenue for information. We purchased a 2012 Entegra Anthem in February this year. I'm currently researching the cost for a front end alignment and wheel balancing.

We are part timers and when we travel we take our two Boxers. Our next trip will probably be to Utah.

I would suggest going to the RV show in Hershey Sept 16-20. Plan on at least a day, everything you can imagine will be there. Take your time and use the show to shop, take your time buying. If they can give you that price at the show, then they can give you that price later.

Thank you all so much for the responses! Just a bit more info, the 25' Winnebago we are considering is a 2016. All the advise is great and we are now planning on going to the Hershey show, as well as further negotiating the price of the RV. Please stay in touch and hopefully we'll see you on the road.
