Hello All,

First post as a new member here. Have been camping most of my life and like many, graduated from a tent to an RV (truck camper at present) and looking to move up to either a fifth wheel or tag along. Retired for almost three years now, my wife and I are awaiting a seasonal site at our favorite campground so we will need a lot more room when the site becomes available. I am sure I will be looking for a lot of pros and cons for either style camper and will appreciate all thoughts.

Hi Neverhome,

Welcome to the forum, it's a great place with a wealth of information and very knowledgeable people willing to help.

I would say start going to RV shows while you await the spot at your favorite CG. You'll eventually walk into rig that will just say "Welcome Home" and they often sell year old models for a lot less at these shows. Ya want to get them low because of the depreciation unless you want used and no payments.

Just ask and people here will help with advice. Hope you enjoy the forum and get all the info you need. Congrats on the retirement. Lynne
