Just signed up. Thought it would be a good idea as my wife and I are venturing out for the first time since we retired 5 years ago. We live in northern Michigan and purchased a 30' travel trailer last year. We're planning on leaving in a couple of weeks for points south (possibly Georgia). Winters are just to long up here.
Any advice from seasoned snowbirds would be appreciated. We had a trailer many years ago when the kids were still with us, but this will be my first experience in winter.

In the winter carry electric blanket, and electric heater. Fill up and flush water system when weather is above freezing. Have fun.
