Happy to be a part of the extended RV family connected to IRV2.
My wife and I are full time RVers, who live and work in the Northwest currently.
We chose to downsize and live the dream. It is nice to be free and able to move the home when we choose, and settle in the beautiful surroundings. We chose to go retro, purchasing a 1986 Country Coach which we are currently restoring as we go. It is our version of a Flex Bus with a more modern, cost effective power train and electric setup as a starting point. It has the modern features we all love to have on the road with limited space, and the added charm of some of the most beautiful woodwork we have every seen in an RV. It is a perfect match for us and our 1963 Mercedes fin tail. So everything runs on diesel, and we get a sense of the romance of history as we hop along. I hope all of you are enjoying your trek as much as we are. It is exhilarating to be on the open road with no stop signs, and it can be quite cost effective, too.

Hi T&L,

Welcome to the forum! Wow, I love the older coaches. Sounds like you need to go to the "Vintage" forum and join some of those threads or post one of your remodel.

Great groups here so join in and maybe give some advice too. There is also a Full timing thread under forums.
