Hi, my wife Judy and I are new members and would like to say hello and introduce our selves. We live in FL now and Judy was traveling RN and have lived in a 2004 Newmar Essex for a few years, but sold and now own a 2015 Entegra Anthem 44B which we are traveling in at present. We are in AZ now in Williams AZ and plan to see Grand Canyon this week.

We do have a question though: How does fifth wheel traveling compare to motor coach travel?? We may have to sell or trade our coach because of health reasons would be grateful for any help.

Welcome to iRV2 .

Sorry that health issues are shaping your future .

Towed 4, 5th wheels during my first 15 years of RVing. Our main reason for switching to a coach , was DW's heath , limited mobility made the interior stairs a trial ; much prefer a coaches level floor .
For me the ease of set up , power levelers , ease of parking; in 25 years of trailer towing , boats, snowmobiles , and the 5ers . never got really good at backing up.
Much prefer driving our toad around, to driving the truck for groceries and other chores. Flat towing allows us to have the toad mobile in 2 mins.

Many posts in the forums that discuss all the + & - of both set ups . A lot of personal preferences involved.

EDIT: JM2CW. Coach is much easier to drive.

Thanks, I appreciate the reply, we started with a coach, have had three now, because we always hauled our motorcycles with us. Now we are too a age where we only like to ride them around home where we know where we are going, also because I can no longer strap and unstrap them plus load a car on dolly when it is 90 to 100 degrees. We had 28' enclosed when we sold house and lived in 45' Essex, now we just tow with tow dolly for our car. Again , thanks for any help. Steve
