Hi Folks i just joined the forum and need some help if possible. In Jan. of this year i purchased a 1989 33' Champion Eurocoach, with what i was told had a newly overhauled motor with approximately 2000 miles on it. When i set out to return to Ks. for the summer i hadn't gone 20 miles and had a front tire blowout. Was towed back to Brownsville and was told i needed to replace all 6 tires, n/p cause i figured the tires could be bad as the unit has set for several years. 3 days later i was on the road again, made it about 50 miles and blew a water hose, had a mechanic repair the hose and ask his if the thought the motor looked like a recent overhaul, he said "if i was you i would get it back and not trust it until its been check out". So back to Brownsville i went, made it 25-30 miles and the motor just died on the Expressway. I ended up in the hospital for 3 days, heat exhaustion and maybe heart attack.
Ok so enough of that chapter .
The tire blowout caused lots of damage to the front left side of the RV. Took out the levers for the jacks, ripped out a lot of wiring, ripped open the bottom of the storage compt. where the batteries are, and took out the front left headlight. I am getting my ins. to cover most of my damage, towing, labor, ect., parts are on me. Also the steel belting is what tore a gash in the water hose.
What i need to know is anyone know where to get the headlight assembly, i have checked online with several different places with no luck at all. Is there any other vehicle (not an RV) that would use the same assembly? I thought i read somewhere the Ford Econoline Van had some of the same parts but not sure about that.
I will thank any and all in advance for any and all info. i can get to help me with this.

Thanks all,

dude, ..... that stinks, no doubt...

it seems that most of the headlights on RV's are re-purposed car headlights. How to know which one fits your RV is beyond me, but if you think the ford van is it, then you're probably on the right track.

does your other good headlight have a part number on it anywhere? If you compare photos of similar year vans, and back a couple of years.... do they appear to look the same?

Get this, on my 05 revolution... yeah, the bus that sold new for like 300k+ .... had headlights from a ford contour..... quality at it's finest...
