Hi Mitchell,

Welcome to the Forum! Kind of a personal taste as to which. Many will tell you a DP and others a gasser. We chose gas. Works for us. DP's have more power but so far the gasser has done fine for us.

DP's cost more for repairs, oil changes, and parts. If finances aren't a concern than go for it. Mostly people are concerned with the floorplan and there are plenty of those. are you interested in new or used?

There is a "Search" engine and if you enter the subject there you will find lot's of threads to read over. Good luck and take your time. LB

JMHO:
If you plan for a lot of travel then diesel pusher would be the way to go .

Limited number of miles per year , and a lot of days living in the coach , gas chassis would serve you well.
DW's approval of the floor plan and kitchen arrangement is paramount , " happy wife" ; well you know the rest.

Always look for the RV's weight sticker when viewing a coach and, check for CCC ( Cargo Carrying Capacity ) you don't need a rig that's overloaded from the factory ; and there are a number of them out there.
For a coach in the 30' plus range look for CCC in the range of 3,000 lbs. and higher; no sense having lots of space to carry your stuff and not being able to take it with you , because it's too heavy
