JMHO:
If you plan for a lot of travel then diesel pusher would be the way to go .
Limited number of miles per year , and a lot of days living in the coach , gas chassis would serve you well.
DW's approval of the floor plan and kitchen arrangement is paramount , " happy wife" ; well you know the rest.
Always look for the RV's weight sticker when viewing a coach and, check for CCC ( Cargo Carrying Capacity ) you don't need a rig that's overloaded from the factory ; and there are a number of them out there.
For a coach in the 30' plus range look for CCC in the range of 3,000 lbs. and higher; no sense having lots of space to carry your stuff and not being able to take it with you , because it's too heavy
