Hi, I知 new to this forum but not to rv段ng. I知 Carol & my husband James live in North Florida, & we currently own a 2018 Mallard M28 that is at the dealer for major leak issues on the driver side slide. 2.5 months old & this. I知 sorry, I find this very discouraging. She hasn稚 even been used yet.

Anyway, there is another dealer apparently willing to work with us; I have ordered reports from RVT.com, but I was wondering if any of you had any experience with Jayco Jay Flight 28 RLS or Keystone Cougar 27 SAB, both 2018 models.

Please, I知 open to all and any suggestions. Heartland has had to order parts from their suppliers, & it needs at least 25 hours of work. Thanks in advance!

Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.

Have you contacted the manufacturer yet? With your MH only a 2018 you should be under warranty. In any event You should not be having this type of problem. Let us know how it gets resolved.

Happy Trails!!!

Hi Carol & James! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would try to get them to swap out for another RV. Leakage issues can be a never-ending problem. They think they are fixed and then pop up again a few months later. Then, first thing you know, the rig is out of warranty and you still have the problem!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome to the forum and sorry about the leak. The good news is it was found while under warranty so though a pain in the A.. it should not be a pain in the wallet.

Once this is over and you are into your adventure this will be but just a memory (though not a good one) but better things await you

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! We have resolved the issue & cut our losses by purchasing the Jayco Jay Flight 28 RLS. A slide topper has been ordered for it, so we expect to pick it up b4 the end of the month. Yay!

Hi folks! I towed her home last night, yippee! We had 2 trees taken down since the Mallard was gone & someone is coming to grind the stumps tomorrow so I can park her by the house. You would’ve laughed watching me & a girlfriend stuffing my rogue with as much as we could get in it. We have one more run to change out the mattresses & get my remaining items out, Plus leave all my documentation that came with the trailer. Now, where do I post a pic of her, I know I saw a place somewhere..
