Welcome and congrats on the new coach. You will love your Tiffin. You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

The learning curve is long but thankfully only steep in the beginning.

Enjoy the adventure.

Hello Jim

Very interested in the Tiffin Breeze. Consequently, any information on your experience with the new coach is appreciated.

1) How well does it pull a 7-8% grade? Speed of 30, 40, or 50 mph .... or do you just climb at the speed you like to travel at that time?

2) What mileage are you getting on the flat and in the mountains?

3) What is the curb weight of your Breeze?

4) How well does your coach handle cross wind?

Hope you are enjoying the new Motorhome and that it is treating you safe and well. Noticed your other thread on the slide. Monitoring to hear what you find as a solution.

Thanks Pat

This is my first coach so I am still getting familiar with the operation - the coach handles well although I can't compare it to anything - has nice features - plenty of storage for my needs -

To answer some of your questions...

1. Haven't been out of Florida yet so as far a speed on grades can't speak to it

2. Getting abut 10 MPG - not towing - flat ground

3. I'd have to d some math for the curb weight - the GVWR is 24,500 - split 9,500 front -15,000 rear (had mine weighed - 21,480 with half fuel and "stuff" in the storage area)

4. Haven't experienced cross winds yet but passing tractor trailers sure wake you up - thinking of investing in the safe t plus steering mechanism

5. Calling Tiffin this morning regarding the slide -

Thank you for the information. Very helpful. Your weight result is a perfect reference point. And we were hoping for an average of 8mpg, so your 10mpg suggests it may be possible with conservative driving.

Folks seem to be happy with their Safe-t-plus installations. Not happy that is required, but most RVs require a bit of tuning to get them dialed in.

Enjoy your coach and keep us informed. Real world experience really provides the perspective buyer with input that can only be established by driving a rig in the big wide world out there. Appreciate your sharing.
