I all. My wife (Shirlee) & I (Bob) are planning on returning to the RV community. We started with a 'theft recovery' Class A Gas Winnebago that was quite an experience (mostly bad) about ten years ago, then purchased a 2005 Forest River 23.5 Class C from an RV rental outfit. This was a much better experience as it was purrfect for us and our two Maine Coon cats. We sold it last summer (2008) due to rising fuel prices and a lack of time to use it - Shirlee still works. Come this Fall, Shirlee will be retiring and we are seriously considering purchasing a used DP, preferably a Dutch Star 40 footer. We've been searching the internet and have found a few that look like they would fit our bill, if we were in the market right now.
Anyhow, we are looking for any and all comments about various DP's, altho' we are focusing on Dutch Stars and also Allegro Bus.

See y'all down the road,
Bob

Bob and Shirlee,
Welcome to the forum.
We know folks who own, or have owned, the RV's you mention. I can't remember any negative comments from either friend, neither of whom were ever accused of being shy.
Cheers, Chuck
