I was told in March from a doctor who was reviewing my records that, and I quote, "You dont have a much of a life" that what it took for me to decide that my wife Janet and I need to get on the road. I explained what I really wanted to do and we went out and looked a RV's, I really wanted a class A but then reality set in and as I already had a perfect 3/4 ton pick up a trailer or 5th wheel would be good, I had never towwed any type of trailer in some tme and never a 5th wheel, but thats what we bought a short 37 foot Carriage Cameo with all the comforts of home. That was in late April and we were on the road the first weekend we had it and have used it every month since. We both look forward in our many travels with y'all

Various groups are always doing something around the state. Bob and Kristi are the Area Leaders in your are and have rallies planned closer to home.

The next rally is in 2 weeks bewteen Bellville and Sealy. The Christmas rally in in Spring, Texas, just north of Houston.

bkramer271;

Welcome to iRV2. We are glad you joined us. Post often and share your travel adventures with us.

Years back after I had been working 7 days a week in my own business I received the same advice as you received. I purchased my first RV. I called my 5 children together and informed them I was going to start spending their inheritance now and if when I died there was anything left it would be because of poor financial planning on my part. They graciously approved of my plan and they told me to take their mother on as many trips that we felt comfortable doing.
