Hello everyone, I just joined your group after reading forums for the past month. I purchased a 2002 Winnebago Journey 36GD about 8 months ago,and my wife and I have put about 8,000 miles on it. We are planning a 3 month trip in June to go out west. I have driven trucks for 34 years and traveled in just about all the states in the U.S. This is different though and a lot more comfortable. Hope to chat with you in the near future. Mike

Welcome Mike to iRV2. With your truck driving experience you will be able to make a positive contribution to this site. I guess the only thing you will have to get use to are the other systems in a MH. Putting 8K milese on her is the way to do it. We did something similar. Bought our MH and two weeks later took off for CA.

Welcome Mike,
Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things. Enjoy your trip out west. What are you calling "out west"? That can be a lot of territory to cover in three months.
