Hello everyone, I just joined your group after reading forums for the past month. I purchased a 2002 Winnebago Journey 36GD about 8 months ago,and my wife and I have put about 8,000 miles on it. We are planning a 3 month trip in June to go out west. I have driven trucks for 34 years and traveled in just about all the states in the U.S. This is different though and a lot more comfortable. Welcome Mike to iRV2. With your truck driving experience you will be able to make a positive contribution to this site. I guess the only thing you will have to get use to are the other systems in a MH. Putting 8K milese on her is the way to do it. We did something similar. Bought our MH and two weeks later took off for CA.

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things. Enjoy your trip out west. What are you calling "out west"? That can be a lot of territory to cover in three months.
