Hello everyone,

We are happy we found this forum. We recently sold our MH but now we are waiting to pick up our new Fifth Wheel, which we have found, put a deposit on, and should have within the next few weeks. It is a 2011 Dutchmen Colorado 260 RLS. We are so excited.

We are retired but aren't full timers. Actually we are waiting as Ron has knee surgery this Thursday. Hopefully he will make a full and quick recovery then we can go pick up our fifth wheel. Of course his health comes first.

Looking forward to reading all the posts on here.

Linda and Ron

Welcome to the site. Hope the surgery goes well for your husband. Be sure to keep after the theropy after wards. Do you two normally leave Sun City for the summer?

Talking

Thank you for all your greetings.

Yes, we try to get out of Sun City in the summer, usually for three or four months. We traveled up the west coast from LA to British Columbia one summer but the last two summers have been spent at an RV park up in Lakeside, AZ where it is tall pines and cool nights with occasional rain. We love it there. We are planning to travel up the west coast again this next summer with the new 5th wheel.

The weather in Sun City in the winter is very pleasant. It just seemed to take forever to finally cool down from the summer heat this year. It used to start in September, then it went to October and this year it was November before we got the cool temps. It is currently 47 at 8:45 and it is suppose to go up to 74. Just perfect weather.

Looking forward to hearing from you all again.

Linda
