New to this site. My wings have been clipped for now, but I hope you won't mind if I travel vicariously through your adventures.

Welcome HoboPals,
Get ready, your journey is already underway.

You just spent five days down on the Gulf coast of Florida in Santa Roas Beach at Gregory E Moore RV Park in the beautiful national award winning Topsail Hill State Preserve (best known simply as Topsail). Your parking spot was just a short walk from the in park white sand beaches on the Gulf. Your accomodations there included a master sleeping suite equipped with a king sized sleep number bed topped by a three inch thick foam pillow topper. For your entertainment, the sleep quarters included a flat screen TV with park cable channels, over air local channels, and all premium channels for your viewing enjoyment provided by Dish Network. A wide selection of movies were also available via the DVR. To make sure your clothes were always fresh, a washer/dryer was conviently located in the suite. Full shower and sanitary facilities were conveniently located right next to sleep quarters.

When you wished to prepare meal in suite full kitchen accomodations were available. These include a gas stove w/oven, convection microwave, double stainless sinks, and four door refrigerator/freezer. For grilling out, a gas grill w/20lb tank was set up for your cooking and entertaining needs. While grilling out you could enjoy all the televised entertainment on you basement mounted 30 inch television. The indoor dinning table would seat four.

For relaxing in the living quarters you had your choice of two captain chairs, a sofa or a Euro lounger w/foot stool. A computer desk was also provided for your laptop with its own secretary's swivel chair. You have to same selection of televised entertainment as the bedroom on your living room 32 inched flat screen HD television and enhanced with full surround sound DVR. For additional entertainment you had available full coach Sirus radio.

Shopping and dinning out in the Destin/San Destin/Santa Rosa Beach were a real pleasure with a rich selection to choose from. A fine seafood dinner at Goat Feathers overlooking the Gulf was just the ticket for relaxing after a long days drive. Breakfast one morning at Donut Hole and a lunch at the always great P.F. Chang's with one afternoon snack at Robert's Rocket old fashion dinner while shopping in the upscale Destin Commons Shopping Center. A dinning must is dropping by the local Cracker Barrel for either breakfast one morning or a lunch or supper of either chicken & dumplings or turkey and dressing. No trip would be complete without a stop at the Fresh Market for a variety of meats and fresh vegetables and fruits. A wonderful time to take advantage of the sale items and stock the freezer with specials like the $3.99 lb baby ribs.

Aah, five days is just to short of time to have to spend. But you can look forward to your next excursion coming up next month. Traveling to meet friends at FMCA's 85th Family Reunion & Motorhome Showcase, which will be held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry, Ga., from March 14 to 17, 2011. You will be traveling in quiet diesel pusher air cushion ride comfort for the journey that includes all the luxurious comfort items listed above. In route, dine, rest, relaxe and overnight lakeside in southern Georgia. After meeting with friends and enjoying the displays, seminars, and shows in Perry, plan on a weekend retreat in the mountains of northeast Georgia with an included day trip to the alpine city of Helen. You're sure to ruin your diet and maybe drink a little too much on that one. Leaving that pleasure burg is necessary to make your annual appointment at the Freightliner Service Center in Gaffney, South Carolina for chassis servicing. Where to go from there, let your imagination roam.

Travel well, travel safe,
